I know youre bound to see more classics on the road during the summer but just recently ive notice a lot more minis out and about.

I'm seeing at least 1 or 2 a day and not the same ones twice where as normally id hardly expect to see 1 a week.

My son, who's desperate to get his own min says there are some students at the local college with Minis too, a mate of his has a project on the go as well.

You're doing well to see that many.  The roads are so bleak - it's rare to see much that's more than fifteen years old.  I spotted a mk2 Golf in a car park recently and it makes you realise how big and ugly cars are nowadays.  My wife has a 2011 Focus and it's almost as wide as an average parking space.  I'm so glad to own a Mini again.

I guess you see them more in some areas than others.  When I had a Mini in the 1990's I never saw other Minis very often then.  It's always good to hear when they're about though.

Nice weather brings them out! I’m guilty myself if only being a fair weather driver

I very rarely see any in cornwall. I travelled up to London and didn’t see one driving. Only a mk3 cooper s in a car park ?

Mines a dry (ish) weather mini when it’s running?

Seen one in Manchester on tuesday. Rarely see any up here in Carlisle, but i do know who owns the local minis. Only normally come out to shows, and live about 25mins away or other areas

The current MINI is only a Mini in name and not even that really as it has to be written in capital letters.

I think cars are just getting bigger, I had my sister in law's 54 reg Toyota Yaris in my garage parked next to my MK2 Jag and the Yaris was taller!

It's the width of them that gets me these days, roads or parking spaces aren't any wider.  If there were more Mini's on the road, or more classic cars in general, or even just anything made before 2005 rather than anything newer there'd be more space for everyone.

I’ve seen quite a few lately too. South west gets the sun I guess.
