I didn't trust myself to weld them in the right place hahaI had the heel repair panels on mine. Both magnum panels. Never had any issues with them.

Mines got magnum end panels on it, there’s not much to them that can go drastically wrong to be honest, the only pain is lifting the subby in and out to check alignment before you weld it up. If I had my time again I’d make a jig that’s abit lighter to manhandle.
That is what I am thinking of to be honest making a jig then I could keep checking the alignment of the holes etc. I will see. I would like to go with the full panel but at present it really doesn't look like i need to

Yesterday we picked these Mk2 back lights up from Avtovaz they look a great set of lights and think they look ace up against the red paint, I will be looking forward to bolt the retro bits back on this car. But we are a long way off that yet. haha

Uhm, is that not the right-hand side lens fitted on the left-hand side housing?

Bloody picture uploads on here I hate it! haha
Yeah I had another look at them last night and they look bang on and exactly the same to what is on my Sidewalk so the lenses and everything are ok. Maybe the angle of my photo, we are well chuffed with them.

Right I need to get back on this soon! Work as mucking about making it hard for time and funds to put this way! Hopefully some updates will come very soon. Next stop is to get the flitch panel welded in. I have test fitted an A-panel I have a gap now to work with, so onwards and get the flitch in.
Then I will need to turn my attention to cutting the over sill off and getting to work on the passenger side heel board repair and start building this side back up again.

Sorry for lack of updates, work/life has took over and a electrical fault on one of our other minis. But touch wood we are sorted there now.
Gary is now moved to the middle of the garage, the rear subframe is off and we took advantage of the Mini Spares Heritage panel sale and got a new heel board, as we thought this was the best route to go. So a date with the angle grinder is next to cut the rears of the seat area and boot floor out ready to work see about cutting the heel board out well whats left of out....
I will try and get some photos uploaded.
Anyone that has done a heel board some photos and tips would be great...

Any updates? I've just finished heel board. Will get boot floor tacked in next week
Hi, Yes I have been working on this not as fast as i would have liked. now have both flitch panels in, shock mounts repaired, door posts in and door steps both sides, next its to decide on what to do with the floor, then fit the new heel board.
Slowed up over the xmas period as we bought another mini
Hope to get back on this now once a few jobs are done the new purchase.
Also struggling to get pics up on here again which is annoying me.
