I’ve just carried out a full service and have just noticed that the oil pressure light is no longer lit on ignition before starting. I had thought it should come on then go out once running. Is this correct?

I have 2 sets of clocks so relatively happy it’s not the voltage stabiliser. Any suggestions?

The heater gauge is working. Fuel I’m unsure as the car only has a Gerry can in at the minute and not currently road legal.

Thanks

Might sound stupid but the connector is on the sender? I’ve knocked mine off before when working on the car

I’ve just replaced all bulbs in the unit. That was my first thought.

I’ll check the connection on the sender shortly.

The only other thing to note is that the battery light comes on after revving, however measuring the voltage over the battery it’s a steady 14.3. Again on both sets of clocks.

Just to add Nippon clocks

Disconnect the wire that goes to the sender and short the wire to Earth. With the key on, the Oil Light should come on.

If it does, then the sender is suspect. If it doesn't then you have a wiring issue, a broken track on the PC board on the back of the clocks or an issue with the bulb.

Good when it's an easy fix :proud:

Glad you're all sorted.
