Just replaced the head gasket. When is it best to re torque the head? After letting it warm and cool down or after say 100 miles or so?

A complete heat cycle. Get it warm then let it cool to cold again.

What Steve says ☝️
If it's a BK450, its best to run this without coolant for the heat cycle.
Allows the gasket to stick to the block/head better.
