I've just bought a 1275 block and have been looking at cylinder heads. I've come across the Mini Sport Stage 2 kit https://www.minispor...bs_description. Does anyone have this and would you recommend it?

Cheers,

Will

The Kent MD266 cam is very good for fast road but short on lift, avoid using sintered rocker as this will disappoint. Suggested combinations:

- 266 cam with 1.25 or 1.3 rockers for Stage 1

- 266 cam with 1.4 or 1.5 rockers for Stage 2

- 266 cam with Minispares '1.5' forged rockers or 1.7 roller rockers for Stage 3

I've heard nothing but good things about the 266 cam so that's a definite. Have any of you got any experience with the Minispeed stage 3 head? http://www.minispeed...ed-head-1275cc/

Having actually looked at their website from the homepage, there are no links to their products so I'm doubtful that they still sell it

Or just buy a Minispares evo1 cam. Essentially a 266 with more lift. Bags or torque for much less money. That plus what racingbob says will give you a cracking engine with loads of useable power, and put a smile on your face.

Hi Will,

We can do you a stage 3 head at £625 exchange as per this link http://www.minispeed...ed-head-1275cc.

All heads are modified to order taking 6-8 weeks, and optimised to suit your bottom end for required compression ratio, which we can advise on.

The website shop is closed but you can place your order by emailing [email protected], using the contact us page on the website, through our facebook page facebook.com/minispeedltd or calling 07875300056

Cheers Scott

What about an AC Dodd RS cam. He can do you a head too.

Or there's turbo Phil, both come highly recommended
