Hi guys let me first start by saying a huge thank you for the advice that you've all given for free in the pursuit of our mini problems.
I've owned my 82 Mayfair since 2010 & for a couple of years drove it around like a pig in you know what then layed it up with the full intention of doing a moderate resto which due to life I'm only just getting round to.
There is a special reason for wanting to get this Mini back on the road (apart from its a Mini) I bought this with the money that my Mum left me after she passed with cancer & at the beginning of this year my baby daughter was born still sleeping so the project name is a combination of their two nicknames & to honor their memory.
Needs inner fitch panels, floors, sils, rear pockets, heel board, arches lots of work on boot & lord only knows what else I'm going to find along the way & I only get Saturdays to work on it also how do I put up photos to show just how bad/much work is going to be needed thanks everyone

Welcome along!
Sorry to hear about your loss but what a lovely way to remember both.
Looking at your pictures looks like it’s definately repairable.
If your using flickr, which you are, then you’ll need to access Flickr on a PC/Laptop to be able to post IMG codes.
