i have just been looking at the x flow heads available for minis, i have heard of the bmw k1100 16v motorbike cylinder head being fitted to minis with outstanding results, does anyone know of any other heads available that fit onto the mini block, like 8 port heads etc.
i am going to measure up my kent x flow ford head to see what that is like on the stud positions, bore positions, oil ways etc, if i can find something like that to fit i could build me an 8 port turbo!

7port is best as you can use conventional exhaust manifold set up and twin webers. See link

Fits easily without engine bay mods. and all original ancillaries will fit to keep initial cost down. upgrades to twin webers or throttle bodies can all be done at a later date. Pus you don't need to put a weber box in because twin 45's or 40's fit neatly at the front. See pic

The xflow head is way too long to fit.
I would buy an Alexander 7 port head, If I could find one
Siggy

That akm 7 port turns an othrwise standard mg metro lump into a 100bhp monster! Just imagine what it would do to an already hot engine.
