Hi mini folks,

Just about to start work on my newly acquired FOERS NOMAD pick up. all the hardware has been done. but electrics are a mess. I need to know which wire loom is used. have no idea how to assess which mk mini the loom is from. It  has a central speedo. Does anybody know when the first and last were built?.My info is, that about 200 were factory built, and had regular number plates.Engine is 998cc and 12 inch wheels. Metro A+.was into minis 94 -2007ish. mechanical work no problem to me. However, electrical s are my weak point. I need to conquer my fears and get to work.

I have seen the wiring diagrams for 64 to 76 and beyond to 84. it does have a 5 switch panel similar to the 80s Mayfair. any clubs close to me that i can join. I live near reading.

thanks in advance Stu.

PS let me know how to post photos and i will take a few to give you an idea of state of electrics. thanks again

Mini production stopped in 2000 ?

To post images you need to upload them to a photo sharing site, then copy the IMG code in the text box.

For a wiring loom try calling Autosparks or wired by Wilson (he can use your existing loom and tidy it up as needed)

Thanks cal844,

at the moment ,i am unemployed and trying to keep costs down by trying to sort it my self. i have had a closer look tonight and taken photos from various angles. The more i look, the worse i feel. I know electric problems are usually solved by logic and time.well, i have loads of time. it has an 8 post fuse box on bulkhead in the usual place. 4 posts each side. i asked in the post about the first and last made. i meant the NOMAD dates. sorry about that.

thanks for the photo tips

Stu
