So bodywork wise, i have just got the other side to do now, sill, floor and door step. Then general repairs and some filler work.

I have placed an order with Allspeed who are supplying the bare metal Vtec subframe, Driveshafts and Cv joints, which sould be arriving in 8 weeks

I have also managed to find a B16 engine locally, which im going to buy tomorrow if its as described

On this car, not sure about others, they have put the seam sealer over bare metal, so there was rust trapped under it, im going to have the remove it all now i know, and primer then tiger seal it all.

May of lasted another 10 years before you saw the signs but i have gone as far as bare metalling it, so may as well start fresh

Fair play, I never realised they put it over bare metal, explains a lot

Engine now collected, really happy with it, came with more spares than expected.

plan with the engine is to paint the valve cover wrinkle black, gunk the block and gearbox and paint in silver
