I'm not sure if you mean you've pm'd me?  I haven't got any messages in my inbox I don't think? I can't see how to pm you either about it?  Maybe its something to do with how long I've been o the forum?  But I can't see a 'pm' button...

If it's blindingly obvious (which won't surprise me one bit!) I shall blame my spectacles for being a bit grubby...

Hi Biggles, in response to a for sale post, "pm'd" usually indicates thatsomebody has private messaged the original poster about the items for sale. That was certainly the case for my message. If you'd like to private message somebody, first go to their profile page by clicking on their username on the top left of their post. Once there, use the 'send user a massage' button on the top right. Thereafter you can go to the messages by clicking on the envelope icon at the top left of any forum screen

1984mini25 hope you don't mind me explaining here  :highfive:

Thanks Jonlad - That's brilliant!  I worked out how to send him a private message following you excellent instructions - but couldn't find a button about a private massage like you said?  Am I missing something here?

Regards,

Bob :D

If you scroll waaaay up to the top of any page on the forum, in the black strip right at the top, you should see the shape of an open envelope on the right hand side. It will have a little red "1" next to it if somebody has sent you a message. Click on the envelope and it should show all your conversations, previous and current.

I've just sent you a message to test it. Hope it works!
