was wondering what this is called and where to find them?
Also, do they only work with certain wheel arches or are they universal?

Only fits wheel arches with a lip or can be fitted directly to the external seam of the car.

 

So like this with arches (Mini GTS arches)

 

 

 

Or straight to the body seam like this

Neither.

They are attached with custom made hooks that the arch slides over and then fastened to the lip with clips and the seam trim
