ive recently sold my 82 polo breadvan and came across this 1988 austin designer from a work college who after having another child was unable to complete it.

my plans are to get the shell solid first of all then a fresh coat of paint.

my plans have already changed a 100 times in my head but i'm excited to see what the end product will look like

it wont be a show winner but it'll be done to the best of my ability and driven at every possible opportunity

on the way home:

I've managed to get a few hours in today removed the sound deadening to see what i was getting myself in for:

passenger side doesn't look too bad just need a quick wack with a big hammer to knock the floor flat

I wasn't so lucky on the drivers side unfortunately:

it was full of silicone and PAPER i didn't know whether to laugh or cry. it'll get tackled 1st so the worst is out of the way

also pulled the wrap off the roof its took a little paint off but other than that its good

Nice dude! Can’t believe how good that roof is under there, I am looking forward to seeing this one come together, can’t wait to give you a hand with it.
Cafe racer will be a cool look...
