They hold the air in! Bit of silicone and do them up nice and tight. Can’t go wrong

Why must you be ill? There's nothing wrong with Binis, a fairly good modern hatchback, it's just that they're not Minis & never were.

What does the bonnet look like that covers that lot?

 

Shouldn't the red ejector seat control be on the inside of the passenger compartment?

That's the most complex 850cc i've ever seen :P

 

I spy with my little eye an unconnected hose by the water pump! Anything to do with that?

there are at least 2 hoses that are closed off. but nope.

 

not adding just replacing.
