Hi,

Silly question, what should I put in my clutch reservoir,DOT 4?
I have some DOT 4 but it says brake and no mention of Clutch.

Driving home tonight and had trouble changing down into 2ndand into first to pull away. Clutch pedal was low. Got home and checked the clutch fluid level and had to pop my finger right down to touch fluid!,,

Must have evaporated in the heat ????

There are no silly questions, only silly answers, a friend of mines daughter once topped her minis brake fluid up with engine oil because she was afraid to ask in case here dad thought she was stupid.  Fortunately all it did was knacker the master cylinder seals and the brakes stuck on.

Nicklouse is spot on with the answer on this.
