Hi mini folks,

                   Just decided to bite the bullet and visit Potters Bar. I know i handed the money over without menace, but will have to tell the wife my account was hacked by robbers.LOL. Just short of 300 Greens and i have everything needed to get it through an MOT. Was served by "Gary" and after answering lots of questions and showing some photos, he reached a conclusion. steering wheel is between 84-89. loom 82-84.The rest, engine etc is pure guess work. :highfive:

reverse light

Rear Fog light matching above.

central speedo loom conversion, light bulbs and 1 spare of each type

Chrome interior mirror

assorted panel switches 5

switch mounting panel for 5 switches

wiper motor, rack, spindle houses or wheel box x 2 strap mount and foam pad

black wipers with hooks.

hazard relay

Indi relay

screws for cowl

2 hand brake quadrants and pins.

fuse block.

voltage regulator on speedo

 

   I will keep you all updated regarding any problems. I also would like to thank everyone who has offered advice or asked questions to solve my problems. Just hope nobody gets fed up with my quest for info. Am going to spend the weekend fitting all the electrics.

 

jobs to do:-

 

feed rear loom to back lights and fit , check they work and if not,  fault find.

build battery box and rear bed storage for jack, brace, and spare wheel mount.

put support chains on tail gate to turn into seat.

locate and fit 2 landy lightweight 88 inch bumperettes on rear. fit battery isolator.in cab.

fit wiper motor rack wheel houses and washer nozzles and pipes etc

source  and fit sun visors on N/S and O/S.

Remove both headlights and extend wires to rear engine bay bulkhead. join and fuse, the put in a waterproof junction box.same with front indicators.

source and fit water temp and oil gauge to a temporary dash panel along with switches.

fit tow bar and lighting socket.

fit handbrake quadrants and pins, cable etc and adjust.

source 5x12 inch 2nd hand mini lite wheels,dont have to be spotless,

find some window catches to fit. not sure of type needed.

fit washer bottle and bracket, tubes etc

fit door pockets

fit door mirrors

source and fit LED work light to light bar above cab

fit heater motor, controls and pipes along with head take-off point,??????/?

then just tarting it up with personnel touches.

as i'm an older owner, music  or "sounds will be the last on my list.

fit a dual usb power socket.

add some towing eyes front and back.

looking to mount some Browning 50 cal M60,s but finding them hard to source. :D

trying to get it on the rd for the 19 july. got a special event in Buxton Derbyshire.
