This is doing my head in. It's on the same circuit as the the heater and is near the reverse light wiring. Light green and orange wire

Good question. The loom is about early 90's apparently. Seems to be and inbetween carb and spi.

The Standard says Low Fuel Warning Lamp, but I think it's Handbrake Warning Lamp.

just looks like a standard bulb where the filament has boiled of onto the glass.

LG/O is fused 1st stage ignition (accessory) so it’s not going to be anything relating to safety.

Looking at the diagrams I agree with the post above, it looks like a the illumination bulb for the auto selector.

Easy test, put a multimeter on it and turn the ignition switch, it should show 12v at the first step.

That totally makes sense considering it's proximity to the reverse light wires. Thanks for the input. I can get rid of that now then. And it's helped me identify this loom.
