For the Dry Subframes, there is a spacer, it's about 5 mm thick.

It's not used with wet frames.

I am just about to refit my front subframe, it is an early type with two bolts in each tower. Is there anything that goes between the top of the towers and the underside of the crossmember? Thanks.
