Hello,

I know there's lots of topics about this but not many have pictures and I want to make sure. I'm going to get the worst of the rust off the rear subframe and give it a quick paint before it's MOT at the end of the month.

Can i Jack it up where the circle is? I've jacked it up further down the rear subframe before (towards the front end) but that's now where some of the rust lies.

not the safest due to the angle.

but i would say you have greater issues than just put some paint on. it looks badly corroded.

That subframe looks scrap, or atleast compromised in strength

As nick says you look to have some serious issues with rust, I have previously offered

some free advice! if you want me to have a look let me know.

Frank
