Hello - i have a '65 austin mini countryman 850 that i'm trying to keep as original as possible.

it has old (maybe not original, but old) Brytax Lyfelok seatbelts. They are a light grey.

One buckle (the drivers side) is so worn from use that male end of the seatbelt simply falls out.

You can see the side by side photo - the passenger side has 'nubs' that hold the male end of the seatbelt.

The worn buckle (on the left) has worn nubs.

I've seen the whole seatbelt set for $850 or so on Ebay. I just need one buckle. Is a whole set my only hope?

If so, is there a newer type of buckle, and i can just replace that without replacing all the seatbelts.

thank you!
