Has anyone got any suggestions for where to get a decent set of 1275 pistons and conrods without spending nearly £1000 on them?

Probably got a few used sets if they’re any good?
Certainly A+ rods
The rods would be great if they were in good condition.
Cheers!

If for a race engine and using standard rods use A plus. I like to take them from an engine myself. So you know they have not been through a engine blow up sometimes your buying tied items.
Ive got a set of mpi A plus rods from a 14000 mile car.saving for my next build.

The ones I have are MPi A plus rods with MPi pistons. Clean and ready to fit, just add rings.
Would MPi pistons and rods be ok with a carbed engine?

Yeah, they're just a good quality 1275 a plus piston from a later car. These were for a proposed/abandoned build and are surplus to requirements. PM me for photos and details if you wish.
