Hello.

Just a quick one, every time I fill up i notice when I get home that fuel has leaked from the opening/cap and down the body work.

Is this normal (as in poor seal) or am I missing or can I buy something to stop it.

thanks

Mine leaks when going round corners if I fill the tank too much but it's a van and has a vented cap as there is no separate breather.  I think the saloon caps (apart from early ones) should be non-vented as they have a separate fuel tank breather.  Injection cars should have non-vented caps.  So either you have a vented cap and are overfilling and/or the fuel cap seal isn't sealing.  You can buy replacement seals or the correct type of cap if the wrong type is fitted.

Have the same issue with my SPi. Have the non-vented cap ad have tried a few and there is still gas build up that ends up leaking onto the body. I rarely put more than half a tank in so it isnt slosh!
