Hello,

I'm currently tuning my 92 mini cooper engine to stage 2 and I think it could be good to improve the braking system.

I read many articles and I think I will upgrade to alloy drums on the read and 4 pots on the front plus some fun disc and pads from EBC.

Something very strange for me, it looks like no one is improving the hydraulic system (servo or master cylinder) is it worthless ?

For me it make sense only if you improve all the braking chain. No ?

OR,  You could go to the gym and build up your right leg muscle, but beware, this could also lead to increased fuel consumption if you press the accelerator harder.

You cant do anything there really. As you ll just lock the brakes up faster. Wich isnt what you want.

As per Dusky and DeadSq the MC is more than up to the job

Personally I would bin the servo and press the pedal harder, it gives more feel and is less to go wrong

As yours is a later car you would need a new MC the Cooper S one is bigger
