ive bought brand new rear panels but i can get them to fit. no matter how hard i press them they seam to be too tall to fit in the metal channel at the top. 

 

does anyone have any tips as how to do it? 

im afraid ill break the wooden board if i press any harder.

This is the problem with a lot of aftermarket door cards. I broke the wood a few times. The way I got over it was to remove about one mm at a time from the arch until it went in relatively smoothly.
