there's some ball joints around that don't fit properly shaft is to thick and a gap between boot and top arm came from some land rover place said for mini. more crap

Bobby, if they are the ones I'm thinking they are, they are utter rubbish

 

 

 

This one had done less than 2000 km and it's really worn out.

there similar Chris mine only got 2 grooves. i put it in about 1000
miles ago and noticed now bit of play so thought i would just take a shim out thats when i noticed wasnt sitting like it should the rubber cover was all loose and could see a visible gap. top arm needed going down about 2 ml more so changed it. on measuring it was 17 thou more thickness. would it have mattered was going to put something so rubber cover not loose. I have 3 more of them as well all 17 thou thicker. what I should have done is put 2 rubber covers on. wasn't a problem driving
