I already have twin tanks fitted in my mini from when I had a turbo engine fitted. I am now looking at fuel injecting the turbo so need to get an injection pump. Can I fit an mpi tank and tee in my r/h tank the same as it is now or won't this work?

this can be a tricky one,

I modded my  non injection twin tanks with a 13mm outlet each t peiced into an injection pump, and then the return was 8mm splitting top each tank, I found that wit would try to drain one tankfaster, and below about 1/4 full woul suck one tank dry so you cold hear the pump sucking air, eapecially on corners. after a fair amount of messing about deleting one return seemsed to sort it so it would only pull from one tank and the other tank would just top it up.

If I had to do it again, I would join the tanks together with the std fuel connections on the bottom, and then add an in tank pump and return onto the fuel sender. or mod the tank for the MPI assy.
