Don't bother with anything modern, get an old Wanner one from ebay.  They're plentiful, will cost buttons and give a lifetime's good service.

I was given one by my ex father in law, its around 30 years old but cleaned up nicely and worked brilliantly!! I'd suggest looking on ebay or jumble sales.

I found a Wanner in the garden shed of my first house, many years ago. Even then it looked pretty old. Still using it, indestructible.

I need to get one.
Looking on eBay for Wanner ones. Seem to go for about £15-25.

As others have said buy a used Wanner. I paid less than £20 for one. Compare their new cost of around £100 to a cheap new one to give you an idea of their quality.

Buy a flexible hose for whatever you get. Makes life much easier.
