Hello does anyone know where I can get my wheel alignment done in the colchester essex area. As Kwik Fit told me they can’t do it and most garages can’t as the car is so old.

What size of wheels? When my garage does minis they need to place blocks between the flag post that rests on the rear tyre so the flag pole missed the floor

It's not that the car's too old, it's that the the garages haven't got suitable equipment.  Sounds like cal844 has a good garage as they adapt their equipment to work on something it wasn't designed for.  Someone will be willing to make it work, finding them's the tricky part.

Yes the owner of the garage I use races on short ovals, but uses the modern Lazer guages for customer cars.

Ideally the OP wants to try to find someone with a set of Dunlop guages (the ones with the mirrors and scopes) I have used them in the past with good results, actually better than modern Lazer guages
