Interested to see if there is a classic mini friendly shop online to buy those vintage black/white number plates with correct font type.  Thought Stickyfingerz would sell these, but not seeing them online.

Most vinyl wrapping / sticker places will do them. The local guy who did the livery on my rally Mini did mine for me. Only a few quid each.

Yup - exactly.  Down here in south with a vintage classic, we have a lot of freedom to do weird things to our cars....especially if they are 25+ years old.,

They are legal on early cars so long as they meet the regulations in respect of size, spacing and are as near vertical as possible.
