Both grandfathers and my father died of Strokes.
I'm 75, and so was put on Statins this year.
After six months, apart from the pain in my buttocks, groins, right shoulder and neck, I couldn't get out of a chair, having on to slide to the floor and heave myself up using the arm of the chair as my muscles were weakening.
The pain is receding since I took myself off them at the beginning of June, but I have 1/2 the strength that I had at Christmas.
Although it isn't my biggest worry, I am wondering, when I complete the rebuild, if I get in, will I ever be able to get out of my Unipower GT.

My wife has Fibromyalgia, it doesn't effect your bones, and isn't a cancer....
It does however effect your muscles and tendons, as well as brain function by memory loss....
It does cause tiredness and muscle weakness.

Prostate cancer wasn't mentioned in the post....
I had no idea about the prostate cancer, just that Fibromyalgia was quoted as a cancer of the bones....
My wife has had it for nearly 9 years and suffers with it a hell of a lot behind closed doors, no cure, only treatment - the same with her arthritis which does effect her bones and joints.
