hi bankxi
first check the fuses
then the connections on the horn, not forgetting the earth
if they are all good you need to test the horn
you need a piece of wire with a clip on it, clip it onto on of the power fuses on the fuse box, and then touch the other end onto the power for the horn (you may need your ign on depending on which fuse you have the lead connected to ( the 2nd from the top is live?)(so you won't need ign on).
if the horn works then you need to check if the switch is working, and your getting power to it.
you will need a voltage tester for this
hope this helps.
(any other problems can you post them in technical and problems)

Hmmm that sounds familiar,

My horn stopped working a while ago, traced it back to the stalk, so I'll be needing a new one.

I cant beep people when they cut me up :D just have to shout at them!

ulternativly get a wooden stik with a lump of metal on the end (i think they are called hammers not to sure) and some WD40  get ure missus to keep pressing it and spray the WD40 at the horn and keep hitting! after 5 or 6 times have a loook at the fuses etc (only hit the horn!) :D

Not the best Idea to spray WD into your horn I'm afraid. Same reason as you don't want it anywhere near your ignition switch. Risk of fire. Horns use a lot of current and are basically a set of points. They are capable of producing nice fat sparks from time to time.

a ggod point was made there by dan wd40 is a penetrating oil used to free off stubbern nuts, bolts, studs and anything else that doesn't want to move, IT IS NOT FOR ANYTHING ELECTRICAL.
for that you need to get a special electrical conductor spray, i have used it in the past with work but cant remember its name at the moment. just don't use wd40
