I'll soon be after a new rear subframe.

I am tempted by the fully assembled option from mini sport, but once I realise the resto is costing way too much, can anyone tell me if it is worth the extra money to get a heritage sub frame, and if not where to get a good copy?

Many thanks

Ed

They are double the price of Ebay sellers.

What is the difference? Gauge, quality and fit?

I'd go for Heritage everytime, but that's just me. Every resto has a different sized wallet on the end of it though and M-Machine (direct from M-Machine not ebay), would be my only other choice if the budget was tighter.

As said depends on budget. I have a heritage frame but then had it zinc galvanized and powder coated. It's not the cheapest option but it is bomb proof.

I went for the copy sub frame from minispares. However I should have gone heritage because after you factor in geometry kits and getting it geometry checked you have pretty much spent the price of heritage. However money was tight then.
