I'm currently gathering parts for a turbo 1293 engine, looking to boost at between 5 and 10psi. What crankshaft(s) would you recommend for the build? Preferably around £500. Cheers!

Standard, balanced. Maybe wedged if you can afford it.

Standard will be more than fine. Mine's balanced & hardened but otherwise standard. 20 psi & 7,000rpm didn't seem to bother it.

Phil.

mine is standard 6581, the supposedly better one from the metro. Most be just use standard, a turbo motor doesnt need to work as hard as a NA engine to make power. You wont be spending long periods of time at high RPMs. And 5-10psi isnt that much boost compared to what some people run
