Im looking at importing a VTec (B series) kit / subframe into New Zealand. I see a few options:

vtec mini mania: https://www.minimani..._TEC_VTEC_Mini_

Watsons: http://www.watsonsra...rsion_kits.html

MiniTec: http://www.superfastminis.com/

I want to know if any are better than the others / pros cons etc......

Thanks in advance.

Karl

well you have only liked to two kits. the Mini Tec one and the Watsons one.

Watsons started doing these conversions circa 1995 I remember them working on the first one. ( I was in and out of there garage quite often as I was building a few cars around then).

This chap does a subframe, seems many in the 16v club like his work. Keeps you on the standard nose.

That chap is in america, seems to do good work. May be easier going USA to NZ than UK.

I have a Honda element that will be replaced soon and thought about using it to build my vtec mini. It has a K24A4 engine, its an automatic. Any suggestions? Has anyone used a K24 automatic before?
