Great Idle But Cuts Out When Slightly Throttled!

I got a new ignition coil last year when I did a full redo on the cooling system, I have not looked into the distributor though. I know I'm being dramatic and it might not be needed, but I'm going to look around and try and buy a new one. I'm not saying mine is bad, but I'm trying to replace as much as I can to eliminate any future problems that may arise because the more I replace, the smaller my search is to find the problem

Hi,

Never any harm in trying to increase the reliability of your car.

Wiring problems are fairly common, check for a good 12v supply to the coil with it running it should match batt voltage.

See if it changes when you give it some throttle too.

After that it's down to dizzy low tension side and the HT side ...
