Hi All,

I am thinking of selling my Mayfair before I go travelling.

I realise I can't list my Terry for sale here as I haven't submitted anywhere near enough posts, which is understandable.

I would like him to go to a decent home, but wondering what is the best way to sell these days...

Does anyone here, also use the various facebook groups for mini owners?

I never thought to check if facebook groups existed until now, is it the same crowd?

I'm a mug for not being an active member on here, I know, and I never looked into local clubs because i've never had time to make it a hobby.

Here's hoping my post is not too shameful, and you wont throw rocks at me!  :shy:

You can become a TMF+ member for £5 and then you could sell on here....

Yeah like above you can become a TMF+ member, otherwise Facebook seems to be a good way to sell. I had a lot of interest off Facebook when I sold mine. Just be wary of time wasters and people that just want to take it for a spin. In the end I sold mine on eBay.

Oh thanks guys.

Didn't realise there was a TMF+ option. I'll do that!

Luckily I haven't had any idiots so far, but that's why I want to be careful about where I advertise, the idea of putting on ebay and gumtree and similar... I don't have the time of the energy for time wasters!

Shame you cant rent your car out for a year, i'm only selling because i'm going travelling for a year, so will probably be hunting it down again when I get back!

Maybe ask a nearby farm if you can put it in a shed for the year?

Store it until you return

I have thought about storing it, but if all goes well then I won't be returning to England at all, so I need to prepare for that eventuality!

store it for a year got to be the best option

don't come back it will probably go up in value more than the storage charges

sell it come back, chances of re finding a lost love about zilch and peeps who brought it may not want to sell.
