Had an hour or two in the garage this morning, and now I can't access my imgur account to upload my photos. Is anyone else having problems or is it just me being thick?

Sorted now. Had to Bluetooth the pics from my phone to the laptop. Still don't know why it won't let me upload straight from my phone though

The Imgur app is a bit crap in that respect, at least it was last time I tried it

Just signed up to imgur to start using it on here....been searching but can’t find any idiots guide to doing it?
Anyone help?

I’ve recently started using it in place of photobucket.

Couldn’t even find the right app in the App Store for it, but it’s easy enough to use via a webpage in safari

so what is the problem you are having and with what device? 

 

as not all are quite as user friendly as others.

 

eg the posting controls on the forum with safari aint good.

Once you have loaded your pics on Imgur, click on the image, the picture will appear and on the right  look for BBCode(message board and forums). Normally second from bottom,  Click copy, then paste on here. Its that easy.

When I click share and copy link in the app do I then just paste that link on here with no [ ] etc?

you cant insert the photo just the link as there is no forum features available in safari 

 so you will need to add  to each side of the copied link

the link should end in .JPG as per my link.
