Thought it would be a good topic for does, dont's and down right dangerous

This photo shows a brake pipe brazed up....definitely a dangerous botch in my book

I drove it before I saw it !!

Brazing is actually stronger than welding, I would love to know what an MOT man would make of it...?

That brake pipe needs a 'Sat-Nav' !

What's it doing there?

The repair looks fine to me, but look at those exposed high amperage cables; that's slovenly !

I wouldn't be surprised if the brake pipe hadn't touched the live one and blown a hole in it.

Hi,

That crossed my mind too, but then I thought it might just be the camera angle...

Cheers  :proud:

The whole thing was slovenly

It had thrived on neglect for years

The brake pipe is from the end of the servo on an old S, about 6 inches above the solenoid

Its not a mini, but next time your shock mounts rust through, try some racking

Doesn't that make the mount adjustable? :P
