Would people say this package is enough to compound and polish a newly sprayed car, i know it depends on the quality of the spray job and what debris drops into the paint, but on average each bottle enough for each stage?

It works out at nearly £100 for just the 3m if i buy in full bottles, it would be worth it if i have another car being sprayed but i dont at the minute.

Hi

I personally wouldn't buy anything 3m that isnt in the original bottles like mine.

You can purchase smaller bottles from specialists or check prices for someone to do it for you.

Yup step away from that, you could be buying bog stock T cut without knowing it.

Yes 3M is not cheap but its priced for a reason.

I use Farclea G3 followed by Scholl Concepts S17+ and then a final wax.

I went a slightly different method mainly used a da, although some areas used the p1500 by hand.
Used p1500 on any areas that needed it, followed up with p2000 abralon wet, then p4000 abralon wet, then finally p6000 3m trizact using a 10mm foam interface pad again wet.

I then found a fine finishing compound on a medium pad was more than good enough to finish it off. I used one from the menzerna range. I just felt more in control with the da wet sanding, had burnt through with a rotary polisher before and found it hard to get the results I wanted. Mine was 2k direct gloss which is very hard.
