It looks like it’s a 1970s Mini that been heavily modified.

It’s a very nice looking Mini so I’d just enjoy it for what it is.

If you wanted it original there is loads to do:

- Remove wheel arches
- Fit wings without side repeater holes
- Complete respray
- change wheels
- Change grille
- Remove 5 switch panel and fit 4 switch one
- Fit centre speedo
- Change steering wheel
- probably change entire interior

And probably more

I have seen a sales brochure (the link was in one of the posts here) where a 74-75 mini has the repeaters. At the end, all of you are right. Like the car the way it is. But I do like the centre speedo, more than the 3 dial that I can not see anyway... I think it the only thing Im going to modify.

Some foreign models had side repeaters, but not that style.

First UK model was the '79  1100 Special, but again different style and location.

I'd say it looks more like a 1990s Mini that's been lightly modified, lol

OK, looks like the car is a mix from the 70s to the 90s. So to make it complete I will fit a centre speedo. LOL

It's a 70 registered car but I'd say a late 70s maybe early 80s build given the position of the washer fluid bottle, the pre 84 stalk position and the HS carb. Sounds suspect ?

Apparently '86 is the date for side repeaters.

There are upgraded parts in the engine, not doubt. and it has a 2013 radio and sound system. So I guess I will label my Mini (no name yet) as a full range of years Mini lol
