Hi All,

 

Having to shamefully admit that i'd left my mini in my nans garage for about 7 years... she (my car not my nan  ) is now in need of some tlc. I'll be taking some pics along the way and hopefully picking the good people of this forums brains for when i'm stuck.

 

Quick car spec

 

1973 mini 1000 in Teal Blue (soon the be changed)

 

1380 Avonbar built turbo running 10PSI

 

Looking to make it as lightweight as funds allow. 

Next job, strip and check body work and respray...

Welcome back!

 

Unfortunately I'm in the same situation, but maybe worse ... I have left mine outside now for 6 years unused. I went travelling and returned to a stuck clutch. Having been back to MITP this year as a means to be re-enthused, I am determined to get started on fixing mine (unfortunately with very little fees but hey ho - that's mini life, right?).

 

Good luck with her, looking forward to tracking the progress. I too will hopefully get started in the next month and post some pics
