Bought another frame off a lad on here, checked it and all was okay and straight so again had this blasted, then seam welded and started making brackets to strengthen the towers

Once the brackets were welded on, holes had been drilled it was back to be blasted again and then powder coated

Back now coated and well happy with the finish of it. Didn’t go that crazy with taking weight out of it but is far stronger than standard now

Starting to gather bits for front subframe, aim is to get this built up over winter.

First off the list KAD race rose jointed bottom arms and tie bars

Force Racing billet top arms, these are in titanium colour. Really impressed with the quality of these

Tower bolts and also got the rest of the bits to solid mount the front frame along with spacers for the bolts from Owens fabrication

Ha thanks mate. I was starting to think there’s not much point writing this just to myself but I’ll carry on

I’m thinking go for nice bits as I won’t sell it....

Must admit i thought posting stuff was a bit slow at start ..now it makes the difference when you get a nice comment and it also keeps a nice log of the progress your making to look back on..its hard for me not to go with lots of trick bits on the van but i think its best to keep it stockish with a few nice bits sneaked in..yours however is the oppersite scale so keep them coming..

Yeah I totally agree mate, the van is too special to do what I’ve done to it. Being a boring old saloon it doesn’t matter with this one :)

Fibreglass arc angels doors delivered, not expecting perfect fit but are so light compared to steel doors and not silly money like carbon.
