Ill start...this is a good one - its not the cars fault, but still.

I left my feeler gauge on the radiator/head bracket and forgot about it.

Started the engine, feeler fell off, hit the fan and BOOM! lost an inch and a half off the end of one of the blades and the feeler guage looks like a cartoon exploding cigar.

thanks brain.

Unexpected gearbox failure, locked up on the drive after taking it out for a blast.
It won't be making it to Brands Hatch mini festival next weekend now.
Engines out, time to find out what's failed.

The rocker cover leaked when I was refilling after a oil change, lost about 2l of vr1 down the back of the engine before I checked the dipstick.

So I have a new seal on the way (and accidently added a shiny rocker cover to my order aswell XD)

The annoying knock over some bumps, the dodgy binnacle electrics, but other than that it's great

Watching it sit in my garage, working all the time, and waiting for a run i'm doing in it this weekend! Driving my modern car makes me miss booting my Mini round, lol, which I only take out the garage for summer events.

Mega stubborn high is emmissions on an MPI that’s driving great but will be 50/50 for its next MOT. Ran out of reasons and ideas bar rebuilding the head.

Not used it for a while, but got it out Friday, washed AND polished it for the first time for quite a while. And weather has been crap all weekend, so back to square one!

They're the only standard parts in the box
