No idea buddy, that's a direct copy and paste from guesworks, might be worth sending him a pm to ask

1985 requirements is to do with the head and carb(emissions etc)

oh - so like in 1985 your emissions had to be so and so on a new car to pass regulations-  that sort of thing.
