Ive been sent some NGK BPR6ES Spark plugs for my car - 1275

its electronic ignition with  HIF44 Carb - is this correct?

Make sure you gap the plugs to 0.035"

Electronic ignition can and will still make a good spark at 35 to 40 thou (not as fussy as points)

 

Standard points is 0.025" gap on plugs

 

Never rely on them being correct new out of the boxes...they can be a long way off

 

I also pinch the cap end with pliers to stop them coming loose
