Hello

A white mini 850cc super here. (although i've researched the engine number and its a 998cc)

Ive had the mini for over 2 months now. Just got around to registering on here, due to being busy with knocking walls down and building doors for the stables so we could actually get the mini in. Also making a shed from scratch to move the displaced stuff (because of the mini) from inside the stables to the shed and also storing mini parts.

Will post pictures when i figure out how to. 

 

Apologies in advance for the non "mini" photos of building work. But its all related i suppose.

The doors was too heavy like this so we cut it in two.

The mini with some additional lighting installed above.

 

A lick of paint on the floor and walls and a workbench.

 

 

 

 

 

All the glass out. Put it in my house loft.

 

 

Loom completely out and labelled up. Previous owner had done some work on the mini-sills, floor pans and jacking points. The last 2 owners have been in the region and been garaged since 2003.

 

Trip to machine mart

 

 

 

Made a dolly you can see on the left hand side

 

A home made engine hoist. Two acrows, a scaffy pole, 2 block of wood and pull lifts

Subframe is solid.

 

 

Jet washing the subframe. Tried some degreaser on before hand too.

And thats as far as ive got. The mini was originally poo brown. Ive just ordered some Deox-c rust remover, then ill probably prime the subframe before putting it away for years   

Just waiting for Machine mart to have a VAT free weekend so i can buy some stuff.

For a minute I thought the block paving was the poshest shed base I'd seen, then I scrolled down
