Considering converting from Drums to Discs (prior to engine upgrades) and have been looking at a mix of second hand parts v complete kits.

The Mini Spares 7.5 Disc conversion kit is what I have been looking at for  £455 here (Currently out of stock though)

But I have just found a kit by Somerford Mini for £361 here

DNS Classics also do a kit for £426 here

Any comments on either kit?

I'd be checking what wheel bearings came with any of these Kits. If they are non-genuine, I'd suggest you ask if you can swap them out for Genuine (Timken) Bearings, they may want to hit you up for a little more, but it would well be worth it.

I bought them in kit form so got my mate to build the hubs then I fitted them to the car was certainly cheaper than minispares and minisport

as with any kit it depends what parts are used. and the only thing they use to differentiate is AP or Non AP calipers. no details of the other parts used makes it hard to compare.

Must have been a while ago - the kit on Huddersfield is £499, which is more expensive than MiniSpares etc
