HI guys, no idea whether this is under the right section, but I'm working on reconditioning a 1275 engine and its in need of some TLC from some machinery, the head needs skimming, the cylinders could do with being bored out a tad and the crankshaft needs regrinding. wondered if anyone knows of anywhere in the Lincoln area that could carry this out. Thanks in advance.

The firm I used to use in Lincoln (proper old school machines that looked lethal!) has sadly been closed for a number of years. You could try Tyre & Tech (very familiar with Minis) as I believe they offer these services however may by let out to others on their behalf. Other than that I "think" the next closest would be Sleaford Mini Centre although I haven't used them myself. Unless somebody can offer any other companies.
