This recent article popped up on Autocar.

Look at all the Minis this guy has tucked away amongst various others cars. Shame many won’t get restored

I doubt many of those stood on grass will be worth saving now......what usually happens is the rusting hoard go beyond being saved and the cars eventually go for scrap when the owner dies or has to sell up the property.

Yep, and anyone with half a mind would have kept the rare/decent items somewhere sheltered, so it's really only more run of the mill stuff thats rotted away.
