I have an OBD II dongle which does not work on a 1999 SAAB 93. Reason: The car has OBD I  respectively EOBD (European on bord diagnostic). The price for OBD I instrumenbt is about 100-120 € if you get a bargain.

Makes me crazy!

Hi,

My van is a 1995 Chevy which is also obd1.

Fault codes can be read and erased with a paper clip though!

Cheers  :proud:

But Scan9495 should work on your OBD1 as well and it has a graphical interface and shows much more values than only fault codes!
