I’m in the process of doing an mk2 club sport homage build using a 1992 Japanese spi shell. Wondering if anyone has converted to mk1/2 wiper motor on a later shell and If so what’s needed. They appear to have both the wipers coming out from inboard of the spray nozzles. Is it possible to use the stock wiper arm holes but just use the two inner most ones?

Also side question that I really like how the new swifttune “willow 2” has the wiper motor hidden, anyone does this or know how it’s done? Cheers!

I fitted a new heritage scuttle to my mk2 and the wipers align with the two central holes, the outer ones are welded up. I can only presume to hide the motor they use different tubes or modify existing ones so it can be mounted on inside bulkhead, or maybe mount it on drivers side and reverse the wiper boxes, think it will be a bit trial and error until something works.
Don’t forget though if wiper on inside it will noisier.

Awesome thanks, exactly what I was looking for. So I just need to order an mk2 wiper motor and arm arrangement?
